My Daily Rootual Plant Based Coffee Replacement was developed to aid our founder in healing from adrenal fatigue.

When healing from adrenal fatigue it's important to cut out anything that increases cortisol, which unfortunately means NO coffee! 

If you are anything like her you grew up drinking a little bit of coffee in your milk and have loved the taste ever since...

2 - 3 coffees a day was the norm, so this was kind of a big deal!!

After studying the medicinal benefits of mushrooms at the California School of Herbal Studies she decided

to create a simple drink coupling the healing powers of Lions Mane*, Reishi* and Chaga with iron rich Cocoa.

As she learned more about the healing powers of root spices she began including them in the formula, creating

a combination of mushrooms, cocoa and spices to help heal her body and provide the soul soothing

familiar ritual of enjoying a warm morning beverage. It turned out she didn't miss the coffee as much as

she anticipated - it was the ritual that provided the daily rhythm needed during transition points during the day, not the caffeine! 

When she shared she was no longer consuming caffeine her friends & family asked "how, you LOVE coffee!!"

(it's true, it's her favorite ice cream flavor too!). That said, everyone wanted to know what

she as doing to "get off coffee"!! So she began sharing mason jars of MDR's original formula with friends and family...

and that is how My Daily Rootual - Plant Based Coffee Replacement started in 2020.

Our founders intuitive alchemistic curiosity led her to make more products anytime she needed a natural product and couldn't find it. 

After-all she drinks her MDR out of her favorite mug with the quote... "actually, I can"!

So when she needed a non-toxic deodorant without baking soda she made one.
